PURPOSE:To obtain an electrochemical device for which a facility of a fixed dopant type conductive polymer is utilized by connecting a p-type conductive polymeric positive electrode layer, a polymeric solid electrolytic layer, and a cation acceptor negative electrode layer together. CONSTITUTION:A p-type conductive polymeric positive electrode layer in which a polymer solid electrolyte that has a fixed anion radical is doped, a polymeric solid electrolytic layer and a cation acceptor negative electrode layer are connected together so as to obtain an electrochemical device. As a method of connecting a conductive polymer with the surface layer of a polymeric solid electrolytic layer by oxidative polymerization, a polymeric solid electrolytic solution is applied on an electrode so as to form a polymeric solid electrolytic layer, and by using this electrode, electrolytic oxidative polymerization is performed in a monomer solution by which a conductive polymer is formed. |
