PURPOSE:To prevent a leak of fuel when an engine in operation is stopped, by providing a shut off valve with a valve close resetting means in a fuel supply passage, driving a generating unit with the engine and opening said shut off valve with said generating unit at not less than a prescribed speed. CONSTITUTION:Both a valve close resetting means 5 and solenoid actuator 6 are provided in a fuel shut off valve 4, equipped in a fuel supply passage 3, and the actuator 6 is selectively connected through a switching device 7 to an engine control circuit power source 8 and a generating unit 9, driven by an engine 1, then the device 7 is selected from a side of the power source 8 to a side of the unit 9 by a safety set signal S of a control circuit 10. Then the circuit 10 is constituted by a speed detector 21 of the engine 1, reference speed setter 22 and comparator 23, to generate the signal S when a speed of the engine 1 exceeds a prescribed value. In this way, if the engine 1 is stopped in operation, an output of the unit 9 becomes zero, and the actuator 6 can be stopped. |
