The invention provides for deformation of combustion products which is carried out by extrusion at a temperature of 0.3 T1 to T2, where T1 is the fusing temperature of the solid phase of the combustion products and T2 is the fusing temperature of the binding material. The extrusion is effected in a container (5) which consists of vertical sections (12) mounted with a gap inbetween and comprises a matrix (14) and a thermally insulated die (17), while the thermal regime of the extrusion is controlled by a unit (21) comprising a temperature pick-up (22) and a unit (23) receiving information from the pick-up (22) and giving the command for moving the plunger (10).
