This lock invention is composed of two basic parts. External coverings 1 and 2, and the casing and lock mechanism 9. The mechanism assembly is located in the external covering 1 with two nuts 13 in openings 29 and can be installed with its face to the right or to the left so that bolt 7, with its hooks (8) exit to the left or to the right, depending on the preferred locking direction. The two covers 1 and 2 are connected to the frontal part of the frame with nuts 11 through openings 10. For engaging the two hooks, the bolt 5 of key 4 pushes piece 23, pushing the back part of the hook 8 and the hook exits the bolt 7, under simultaneous pressure. Upon turning the key in the reverse direction 4, part 23 is pushed down and spring 22 pulls the hooks back inside the lock, releasing the sliding plate. |
