PURPOSE:To smoothly perform communication among a plurality of parties using pictures, by locating a picture storage memory at a location accessible from all communication personnal participating the communication, synthesizing the screen from each participant and returning it to all participants. CONSTITUTION:When a participant 1 transmits an original picture drawn by him through a facsimile terminal 7, the screen is stored in a center main storage device 53 via a subscriber exchanger 61, a relay exchange 64, a subscriber exchange 63, and a CPU51. This picture is immediately transmitted to callers 2 and 3 at each path. When the caller 3 viewing the picture transmits the will of change of picture to the center 5, the center 5 receives it and transmits an original picture from the device 53 to a characteristic pickup device 54, and the device 54 transmits the picture only for the character taking a straight line as a center to the caller 3. The caller 3 draws a drawing desired for addition by him and returns it to the center 5. The center 5 adds the characteristic picture to the original picture and synthesizes them and returns the result to the callers 1, 2 and 3. |
