<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the title derivative capable of efficiently carrying out removal of a zinc complex of reaction product and useful as an intermediate for pharmacologically active substance by reacting a specific inosinic acid derivative in an organic solvent in the presence of a zinc powder and acetic acid. CONSTITUTION:An inosinic acid derivative expressed by formula I (HX is hypoxanthine bonded to sugar part at 9-position; X is Cl, Br or I; R<3> is H or protecting group capable of readily eliminating; R<4> is acyl) is reacted in an organic solvent in the presence of zinc powder and acetic acid and then a zinc complex is removed to provide the aimed derivative expressed by formula II. Furthermore, the aimed derivative is preferably purified using methanol, ethanol, etc., as the above-mentioned solvent and using an ion exchange resin, absorbing resin or chelate resin in order to remove the above-mentioned zinc complex.</p> |
