<p>PURPOSE:To suppress the temperature rise and the increase of pressure of the discharge fluid in the variable capacity operation by providing a reducing means for reducing the opening area of a discharge port in the compression operation, in the constitution in which the compression operation and variable capacity operation can be selected. CONSTITUTION:A swash plate type coolant compressor 1 suitable for an air conditioner for automobile is equipped with a suction part 2, discharge part 3, compressing part 4, and a selection part 100 for selecting the compression operation on the rear side and the variable capacity operation. When a solenoid valve 110 is energized, the selection part 100 opens an opened port 75 by shifting a plunger 130 rightward by allowing a coolant gas chamber 115 to communicate to a low pressure side communication passage 117 which communicates to a communication passage 23, and the variable capacity operation is carried out on the rear side. In this case, a valve body 141 consisting of a flexible member as reducing means and a rear side discharge valve 140 consisting of a retainer 145 are installed in the selection part 100, and the opening area of a rear side discharge port 74 is reduced in the compression operation.</p> |
