PURPOSE:To improve reliability and durability, by supporting an adjusting lever on a wheel cylinder rotatably through a pin and at the same time an over-travel spring is provided between an adjusting lever and a wheel cylinder body in a stretching state. CONSTITUTION:A notch 32a' is provided on one end part of an adjusting lever 32, and the adjusting lever 32 is supported rotatably on a wheel cylinder body 1 by connecting a pin 31 with the notch 32a'. An over-travel spring 34 having weight peculiarity extending at the time of prevention of over-adjusting is provided in a stretching state between the adjusting lever 32 and the wheel cylinder body 1. With this construction, a matter that the adjusting lever 32 and an adjusting gear 3 are slided each other under a pressure welding state is eliminated at the time of operation of over-adjusting prevention mechanism. Unsymmetrical wear, therefore, of the adjusting lever 32 and the adjusting gear 3 can be prevented and reliability and durability are improved. |
