<p>PURPOSE:To remove the malodorous component in the exhaust gas from the suction pump of a vacuum car and to deodorize the gas by using a deodorant contg. at least one kind selected from a group consisting of phosphates, phosphites, hypophosphites and peroxides. CONSTITUTION:One or more kind among materials such as metal, oxides, carbonates, sulfates, chlorides of iron, etc., are incorporated into a material contg. at least one kind selected from a group consisting of phosphates, phospites, hypophosphites, and peroxides such as sodium peroxide. The mixture is deposited on a porous carrier, or mixed with the carrier to obtain a deodorant. The inlet side of a deodorant container packed with the deodorant is connected to the exhaust gas line of the suction pump of a vacuum car, the gas outlet side of the container is opened, and the exhaust gas is efficiently deodorized. In addition, since the service life of the deodorant is longer than that of the conventional activated carbon, etc., economical deodorization can be expected.</p> |
