PURPOSE:To transmit pushing-in force to a propulsion pipe efficiently, and to maintain propulsion operation excellently by holding a plurality of rigid short pipe sections under the state, in which the axial cores of the short pipe sections are arranged approximately on a straight line, by a forcing device without depending upon soil and pushing the propulsion pipe into the ground without being bent. CONSTITUTION:A head 1 for propulsion pushing a propulsion pipe 2 into the ground and a pushing member 3 for propulsion are installed into an execution bit 5 while a guide member 4 guiding a plurality of rigid short pipe sections 2A into the ground as the short pipe sections are held under the state, in which each axial core of the short pipe sections is arrayed approximately on a straight line, in the vicinity of a place where the propulsion pipe 2 is intruded into the ground, thus forming a forcing device A. A drum 6 for winding on which the propulsion pipe 2 is wound is mounted detachably outside the upper section of the execution bit 5, thus shaping a propulsion device for pipe jacking. Accordingly, the propulsion pipe 2 is pushed held so as not to be bent, and the head 1 for propulsion connected to the propulsion pipe 2 can be propelled into the ground. |
