PURPOSE:To allow the incorporation of magnetic powder for the purpose of coloration by using a material contg. a water absorptive high polymer, fixing ink dissolved with arbitrary dyes thereto, and releasing the ink by pressurization. CONSTITUTION:The image forming material 6 contains the water absorptive high polymer and magnetic powder. Images are formed by sticking this material to an image carrier 11. Further, the aq. soln. dissolved with the dyes is absorbed in the material 6 and a pressure is exerted thereto to release the aq. soln. dissolved with the dyes from the material 6 and to stick the same to a recording medium 15. The water absorptive high polymer rapidly absorbs the soln. and gelatinizes the soln., thereby sticking the aq. soln. dissolved with the dyes to the material 6. The fixed liquid is released when the pressure is exerted to the water absorptive high polymer. The release of the aq. soln. of the dyes fixed to the material 6 is possible as well. The ink 8 which is the aq. soln. can be fixed and can be released by pressurization even if the ink contains the chromatic material such as magnetic powder of the material 6 contg. the water absorptive high polymer is used. The desired colors different from the color of the magnetic powder of the material 6 are thereby formed on the medium 15. |
