PURPOSE:To minimize the amount of phosphoric acid discharged to the outside by recycling and to make a system compact by installing a collection means which collects phosphoric acid and a phosphoric acid tank for storing collected phosphoric acid in a fuel cell. CONSTITUTION:Air containing phosphoric acid exhausted from a cell stack 1 is introduced into an exhaust manifold 5 with the flow rate decreased, and passed through slits 16a between plates 16b in a collecting unit 16, then discharged to the outside through an exhaust pipe 17 and an air exhaust pipe 19. Phosphoric acid contained in air is attached to the plates 16b and collected. Phosphoric acid collected drops with increase in amount and is stored in a phosphoric tank 18. The phosphoric acid in the tank 18 is supplied to a phosphoric acid supply line through a pipeline 20 for recycling. The amount of phosphoric acid discharged to the outside is minimized and phosphoric acid is recycled. The phosphoric acid collecting unit and a phosphoric acid supply tank are made smaller compared with a conventional system, and a system can be made compact. |
