A vulcanising apparatus equipped with an upper platen supported by a bolster and with a mould member detachably connected to said upper platen said mould member having a jacket portion for heating characterised in that there is formed a pair of through passages extending from an upper surface of said bolster to a bottom surface of said upper platen, a steam inlet pipe is connected to an upper open end of a first through passage of said pair of passages, a steam outlet pipe is connected to an upper end of a second through passage of said pair of penetrating passages, there is formed at the upper portion of said mould member a steam supply passage communicating with said jacket portion of said mould member, said steam supply passage being capable of communicating with a bottom open end of said first passage in a condition wherein said mould member is connected to said upper platen.
