PURPOSE:To adjust the arrangement for displaying many digits without increasing the kinds of display units by freely inverting a display part at 180 deg. against a driving part so that it can be connected. CONSTITUTION:A display element 2 in the display part 1 is disposed on a printed wiring board 3 and housed in the head part 4a in a box shape in a display part case 4. In this case, when the display part 1 is inverted upside down at 180 deg. and an external connector 6 is made to be faced in a prescribed direction, external contacts 77-10 are made to be connected with an internal connector 15 shown by oblique lines, and since the external contacts 77-10 are short-circuited with the external contacts 71-4 each other, the display part 1 is rightly connected with the driving part corresponding to the terminals (a), (b), (c) and (d) in the display part 1. That means, the display part 1 can be connected with the driving part in both directions being inverted upside down at 180 deg.. Then, the display in the display part 1 can be freely selected in the same display unit not only in the direction of '+1' but also in the direction of '1+'. Thus, the title device can flexibly correspond to the adjustment for arranging the display. |
