PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of stagger of the electrode chip tip due to wear of a fulcrum part by forming both arms to connect with an electrode chip of good electrically conductive material and carrying out oscillating coupling to be a lever fulcrum by an insulated plate. CONSTITUTION:Shanks 1 and 2 for holding the electrode chip are fitted to the gun arms 11 and 12 and when a pressurizing cylinder 23 is actuated in the direction to open the electrode chip, the plate 13 is bent. The insulated plate 13 functions as this oscillating fulcrum. When the cylinder is changed over to the pressing side at the time of welding, since the accumulated spring pressure is released, it presses the surface to be welded in combination with the cylinder force and corrects the surface to be welded and contact fitting is formed. By this method, the title gun having strong rigidity with reduced size and weight is formed as a whole and the generation of stagger of the chip tip due to wear of the fulcrum part is prevented. |
