PURPOSE:To charge a call charge to a called party by connecting information obtained from a magnetic card or the like to a service center and calling an incoming terminal from the service center when a call is given by using the magnetic card or the like recorded with a service identification number, a destination telephone number and a caller identification code. CONSTITUTION:When a controller 311 of the service center 309 detects a response signal from a relay line 314, the controller 311 controls a signal transceiver 313 and transmits a caller identification code 104 received from an outgoing terminal 301 to an incoming terminal 321. When a control section 202 of the incoming terminal 321 receives the caller identification code 104 by a signal receiver 206, the section 202 displays the caller identification code 104 to a display section 204 and also controls a telephone set section 208 to ring a call tone thereby informing the presence of an incoming call to the user. When the controller 311 detects the response signal of the incoming terminal 321 by the signal receiver 313, the controller 311 controls a change-over switch 310 so as to connect relay lines 314, 308 and sets the communication line for the outgoing terminal 301 and the incoming terminal 321 and also starts the charging of a call charge to the terminal 321. |
