PURPOSE:To obtain a seal the outside surface of which is inlaid a metallic frame and which is free from chipping off at a stamping surface, by a method wherein a filler provided with an air-extracting groove at a part thereof and a sealed plug part at one end thereof is fitted into an inlaid metallic frame. CONSTITUTION:The filler 2 is provided with the air-extracting groove 3 in the form of a longitudinal groove, a spiral groove or the like on the outside periphery thereof, leaving a sealed plug end part K. When fitting the filler 2 into the metallic frame 1, the filler 2 can be easily fitted by extracting air from the interior of the frame 1. Finally the assembly is sealed at the sealed plug part K to obtain the inlaid seal the outsdie surface of which is formed of the metallic frame 1. |
