PURPOSE:To provide good sensitivity to the above original plate and to improve the photosensitiveness thereof by incorporating a specific polymer into the binder resin of a photoconductive layer. CONSTITUTION:The binder resin of the photoconductive layer contains the polymer (resin) contg. at least one kind of monomer components which contain at least one kind of functional groups forming one group among a thiol group, phosphono group, amino group, and sulfo group by decomposition. The hydrophilic group-forming functional groups form at least one hydrophilic groups by decomposition and the hydrophilic group to be formed from one functional group may be one or >=2. The polymer component contg. the hydrophilic group- forming functional groups is incorporated into the resin preferably at 1 to 99wt.%, more preferably 5 to 95wt.% of the weight of the total polymer if the resin is the copolymer. The printing original plate for electrophotographic process having the good sensitivity and the high response speed is obtd. in this way. |
