This stopper assembly is of the type comprising a means 14 of closing the container and a guarantee skirt 7 constituted by a sleeve section 7a made of synthetic material, provided with at least one line of perforations, and heat-shrunk onto the closing means and onto the neck 3 of the container. According to the invention, the skirt 7 comprises several longitudinal lines 17 of regular perforations, whereas the neck 3 comprises, on the one hand, means 6 capable of causing the radial expansion and longitudinal tearing of the skirt and, on the other hand, means 8 capable of imparting to the skirt a longitudinal movement of translation in the direction of the first means 6 when the said skirt is driven in rotation. In one embodiment, the means of radial expansion are constituted by a collar 10 comprising a truncated cone-shaped face 13 whilst the means 8 are constituted by a thread 12, having at least one turn, and having an external diameter less than that of the said collar. <IMAGE>
