LIGHT FILTER FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF VISION

A light filter for the improvement of vision, the light filter has a mean transmittance of at most 20% in the 380 to 450 nm spectral range, and a mean transmittance of at least 40% in the 450 to 550 nm spectral range. This results in a substantial improvement of the vision of people whose eye lenses have cataracts and of people with retina-related weakness of vision, above all in the low-contrast field.
