PURPOSE:To improve the speed detecting accuracy of a motor by obtaining the integral part and the decimal part of an encoder pulse number in a predetermined period and asynchronous sampling period, correcting the encoder pulse number and calculating the speed of the motor. CONSTITUTION:Clock generating means for generating a period measuring clock signal A of an encoder signal B, means 26 for measuring the period of the signal B by counting the signal A, means 28 for integrating the period for a predetermined period, and means 30 for detecting the pulse number of the signal B in a predetermined period and an asynchronous sampling period are provided. The integral part and the decimal part of the encoder pulse number in the sampling period are obtained, the pulse number is corrected, and the speed of the motor is calculated. Thus, the speed can be accurately calculated at a high speed, and the speed can be effectively controlled. |
