The fluid-supported equipment is for the extraction of oblong items such as piles. It has feet (1,1) spaced apart and joined by girders (1,2) and transverse bulkheads (1.3) with stiffeners (1.4) to form a rigid frame. The bulkheads slope apart in a V-pattern, open towards the top. A box-section compression wedge (3) is inserted in the space on each side of the pile etc. (2), in the space between it and the respective bulkhead. Its surfaces (3.1,3.2) towards both form elastic clamping faces (3.3). They can be of laminated rubber. USE/ADVANTAGE - Simple equipment for extraction of files from ground.
