Cooling device for dissipating waste heat from a submarine to the sea water

The proposed cooling device consists of a circulation system having at least one heat transfer chamber, provided in the outer wall region of the submarine, for dissipating to the sea water the waste heat fed to it by means of a heat transfer medium circulating in the system. In order to permit dissipation of the waste heat to the sea water at any dive depth without rupturing the pressure hull, the abovementioned heat transfer chamber is provided on the inside of the submarine pressure hull forming the outer wall region.
