<p>PURPOSE: To realize complete and sure contact between a device-side contact point and a contact point on a card with simple structure and an easy operation by permitting guide means to level-move a drawer in a step form in the area of the set of the contact points toward the set of the contact points at the time of inserting the card. CONSTITUTION: The chip card 2 inserted into the drawer 7 pulled out from a device is positioned in a level by leaving a prescribed distance from the level of the set 3 of the contact points as against the device. The guide means 29 and 30 engaging pins 30 provided at the side of the drawer 7 with slots 29 which are continuously arranged in a pair on both sides of a housing 1 guide the card in such a way that a slot is generated in a prescribed form and the drawer 7 moves to the level in the step form in the area of the set 3 at the time of insertion. This is executed by a level steps 31 provided along the slot 29. With such movement, the card 2 is carried to the set 3 with the contact point of an upper part and sliding contact on the contact point on the card is executed at the last part of the motion cycle. Consequently, complete and secure contact becomes possible.</p> |
