The leg wound dressing, especially for a domestic pet such as a cat or dog, consists of a sleeve (1) of a strong but supple material which fits over the animal's paw and leg and has two extensions (1a) on its upper end which can be fitted round the animal's body to prevent any removal of the dressing. The sleeve can be made from an air permeable material, with the paw section reinforced on the inside, and its upper end can be equipped with a loop (5) for additional tie cords. ADVANTAGE - Improved conditions for wound healing, with less chance of dressing being removed.
