The invention relates to a steam boiler unit especially for winter use for producing saturated steam, the unit comprising a vessel for the feed water 3, pump for the feed water 4, power source for the latter, evaporator coil 9 and burner 2, and in which the water is fed by means of the pump 4 from the water vessel 3 to the evaporator coil 9, in which the water is vaporised by means of the heat that is generated from the burner 2, and in which the evaporator coil 9 is placed vertically and designed to open at one or more watering points 13, from which watering points the evaporator coil 9 can then be drained. According to the invention the said burner 2 is a liquid burner adapted for liquid gas and a combustion engine 6 is used as power source for the water feed pump 4, and the power transmission between them contains a centrifugal coupling, which makes it possible to use the combustion engine 6 at low speed without loading caused by the pump 4. <IMAGE>
