<p>PURPOSE:To perform treatment according to an upward flow anaerobic sludge blanket process (UASB), by diluting raw excretion so as to adjust the concns. of ammonia nitrogen and suspended solid contained in said raw excretion to specific values or less before performing methane fermentation treatment. CONSTITUTION:Raw excretion is diluted so that the concn. of ammonia nitrogen contained therein is adjusted to 3,200mg/l and, when the concn. of SS in excretion is high, the excretion is diluted so as to adjust the concn. of SS to 5,000mg/l or less. Thereafter, methane fermentation is performed. By this method, a BOD removal ratio of 70% or more can be achieved and the generation of scum in a methane fermentation tank is suppressed, and the flotation and outflow of bacterial cells being granulated are prevented and treatment according to a UASB process can be performed.</p> |
