MANUFACTURE OF LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY PANEL

PURPOSE:To offer the liquid crystal panel which has source-drain wiring and Cr wiring in stable electric contact by bringing a 2nd metallic layer which becomes the source-drain electrode into electric contact with a transparent electrode and then bringing a Cr layer as a 3rd metallic layer into electric contact with the transparent electrode. CONSTITUTION:A transparent electrode 2 which forms auxiliary capacity and a transparent electrode 4 which forms a picture element electrode are formed on the insulating transparent substrate 1 of the array substrate of the active matrix type liquid crystal display panel. A transparent insulating film is formed thereupon and then the 1st metallic layer 6 is formed selective which become a gate; and an transparent insulating film, a semiconductor layer, and a semiconductor protection film are formed and the 2nd metallic layers 11 and 12 which become a source and a drain electrode are formed selectively. The 2nd metallic layers 11 and 12 and transparent electrode 4 are brought into electric contact by the 3rd metallic layer 13 as the Cr short-circuit wiring, so that the 2nd metallic layers 11 and 12 and the 3rd metallic layer 13 as the Cr short-circuit wiring come into contact.
