PURPOSE:To prevent a streaked inferior image by forming an anode-oxidized film on the surface of an aluminum substrate, washing it with water, and forming a photosensitive layer on the film, and using pure water for the washing in the producing process of the electrophotograhic sensitive body. CONSTITUTION:The anode oxidized film is formed on the surface of the aluminum substrate by electrolyzing the substrate used as the anode in an aqueous solution of oxalic acid, sulfuric acid, or the like, and after forming the oxidized film, the acid is washed with pure water and impurities attached to surface is removed, thus permitting image defects, especially, streaked inferior images to be effectively prevented. It is important for the purpose of preventing image defects to use pure water likewise for water washing after pinhole sealing treatment. |
