PURPOSE:To prevent the lowering of the output of an engine in an engine which is equipped with low speed and high speed exhaust turbo superchargers respectively, by dividing the turbine scroll of a supercharger into two parts, and leaking a small amount of exhaust gas at the time of the closing of an exhaust cutting valve, and conducting supply to one scroll portion through a passage. CONSTITUTION:The exhaust passage 2 of an engine 1 is constituted with two branching off exhaust passages 2a, 2b which extend independent of each other, and the turbines Tp, Ts of the primary side and secondary side turbo superchargers are provided at the two respective branching off passages 2a, 2b. And the turbine housing scroll of the secondary side turbo supercharger 10 is divided into two scroll portions 51a, 51b which are in parallel with each other, by means of a partition 50. An exhaust cutting valve 11 is provided on the upper stream side of the turbine Ts at the secondary side branching off exhaust passage 2b, and this valve is closed at a low rotation sphere. Also, the upper stream side portion of the exhaust cutting valve 11 at the secondary side branching off exhaust passage 2b is connected to the branching off exhaust passage 2a through a connecting passage 12, and the connecting passage 12 is also made to communicate with the other scroll portion 51a through a leaking passage 14 provided with an exhaust leaking valve 13. |
