Alarm system for filler caps especially for automobiles for use when refuelling the vehicle and integrated as a part of the fuel pump or used in combination therewith. During refuelling the cap is placed in a cap holder which forms part of a recording device. The attendant is reminded to replace the cap after filling the fuel tank by some kind of signal if the cap is not removed from the cap holder. The filling operation may be actuated to start only when the cap is placed in the holder. |
