<p>The present invention relates to a new nematocidal agent particularly useful against plant parasitic nematodes and also to a process to prevent damage resulting from nematode infection. The method for control of nematodes comprises administration of an effective amount of a metabolite of the fungus Myrothecium verrucaria, such as the fungal isolate ATCC No. 46474, or the fungus itself to soil infested by said nematodes.</p> |
