PURPOSE:To improve the heat and light resistance stabilities of a transferred image by providing a transfer layer containing at least one type of sublimation dye represented by a specific general formula on a transfer board, and forming a thermal transfer recording medium. CONSTITUTION:Dye represented by a formula I (where R is hydrogen, unsubstituted or substituted alkyl group, R1, R2 are hydrogen, alkyl group, alkoxy group, halogen, cyano group, or trifluoromethyl group), desirable binder are dissolved or dispersed in a desirable solvent to prepare ink. A transfer board is coated with the ink, and dried to form a transfer layer, thereby manu facturing a sublimable thermal transfer recording medium. The binder of the ink includes, for example, gum arabic, casein, ethylcellulose, etc. The example of the solvent includes, for example, ethanol, propanol, methylethylketone, etc. |
