The gradiometer loop system is intended for a device for the multichannel measurement of very weak magnetic fields; in this case, the superconducting gradiometer loops which are combined into at least one array are disposed on a carrier body and, just like superconducting connecting lines to be connected to them, are designed as thin film structures. According to the invention, the gradiometer loops (S1) on the two flat sides (2) of a carrier foil (3) are to be arranged with such a distribution that they jointly occupy an at least approximately closed array surface (F) and the connecting lines, (7a, 7b) in the region of the array surface (F) are to be designed with such a progression that they are screened off at least to a large extent from gradiometer loop conductive tracks which are situated in each instance on the opposite flat side of the carrier foil (3).
