PURPOSE:To display the number of sheets without increasing the number of displays by selectively flickering any of plural display elements which display the most or least significant digit numeric while their allocated numbers are displayed when numerical data one-digit larger than the possible display ability is given. CONSTITUTION:It is assumed that one-digit integers are allocated to the plural display elements 171 to 177 composing copy contents display means 12 and 13 and that numerical data one-digit larger than the possible ability of the numerical data display means is given to the elements. To cope with that condition, a display control means 30 is provided to display the most or least significant digit by selectively flickering any of plural display elements 171 to 177 whose numbers are displayed. Since the plural display elements 171 to 177 are numbered, a user can realize at a glance how many elements are flickering. Thus, sheet number data one-digit larger than the ability of the display device can be displayed without increasing the number of displays 12 and 13. |
