PURPOSE:To realize a sufficient contrast and clear picture quality by retaining lowering in resolution by setting the total of developing sleeves at N and setting the upper limit to a toner attaching amount per one sleeve. CONSTITUTION:The total of the developing sleeves is N, and the total sticking amount P by N toner carries is 0<P<=0.6XN(mg/cm<2>). The toner sticking amount omega per developing sleeve is set within a range of 0<omega<=0.6mg/cm<2>. In such a manner the toner sticking amount omega per developing sleeve has the upper limit, and force to bond toner to the surface of the sleeve is sufficiently maintained to improve resolution. By number N developing sleeves meeting the inequalities, and the development with N units of developing sleeves, the entire device can take a great total amount as the toner attaching amount P, which realizes a sharp picture. |
