PURPOSE:To facilitate the assembly operation of a cylinder head by varying each length of hole pipes, in a device which inserts these hole pipes, guidingly supporting a cylinder head cover, into respective spark plug holes for each cylinder formed in a cylinder head. CONSTITUTION:In a cylinder head 4 of a 3-cylinder internal combustion engine 2, there are provided with three spark plug holes 8. Likewise, in a cylinder head cover 6, there is provided with each of mounting hole parts 14-1-14-3 in response to respective spark plug holes 8-1-8-3. These spark plug holes 8-1-8-3 and mounting hole parts 14-1-14-3 are connected by hole pipes 18-1-18-3. In this case, in order to vary a relative relationship between each height position of these hole pipes 18-1-18-3 and that of O rings 16-1-16-3 at each of the spark plug holes 8-1-8-3, axial length L of these hole pipes 18-1-18-3 is formed into L2>L3>L1, by way of example. |
