In the case of a trolley (1) having in each case one spring-actuated brake linkage (9) leading through two upright hollow pillars (4) to the rear wheels, the push handle (6) is mounted pivotably on bearings (13), which are seated on the hollow pillars (4), and is connected to the brake linkage (9). An articulated part (23) is attached to each of the two ends of the push handle (6). The articulated parts (23) are mounted in the bearings (13) in a manner such that they can pivot about a common, horizontal axis (7). The articulated parts (23) and the brake linkage (9) are connected to each other in each case by a flexible tension part (28), each bearing (13) and each articulated part (23) having an interior (19) which is covered to the outside and is intended for receiving a portion of the tension parts (28). <IMAGE>
