Resetting device for the leading and trailing axles of vehicles in conjunction with a drive axle for lorries or supporting axle for trailers, with vertical pivot axles which are offset with respect to the wheel axles by axle stubs which are inclined with respect to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle and a track rod which is coupled to track levers connected to the axle stubs and is positively coupled to the steering locks of the two wheels, the axle pipe being connected to the ends of the track lever by resetting telescopic components, coupled at both ends, with no-load stroke, the said resetting telescopic component being movable by hydraulic drive means into a locked centre position corresponding to the straight-head travel position of the wheels.
