PURPOSE:To attain the addition and correction of control contents without stopping a system which is presently operated by providing program control information, for which information such as the propriety of execution, etc., is added to address information. CONSTITUTION:In a main memory device 7, the address information of plural execution programs and program control information 11, for which the information such as the propriety of the execution, etc., is added, is provided. Then, the control of an operation condition is executed and execution programs 3-6 are transferred to the main memory device 7 by a processing method which corresponds to idle area control information 10 and the program control information 11. Accordingly, the execution program to be replaced is separated from an execution processing means 8 and the replacement is executed during the separation. After the replacement is completed, the control is returned again to the execution processing means 8 and the information 11 is newly obtained to determine into which address of the main memory device 7 the new execution program is to be placed. Thus, only the execution program can be replaced without stopping the computer system.
