PURPOSE:To carry out gear shift according to the special operation of an accelerator operating member by installing a determining means which has the data showing the gear shift enabled range of a transmission at each car speed and determines the aimed gear position within the gear position range at that time in correspondence with the data. CONSTITUTION:When an accelerator pedal is operated so that the operation quantity crosses the prescribed shift-up level toward increase, the shift-up demand is outputted by an instruction signal CS supplied from a judging part 34, and if the shift-up is permitted, referring to the contents of the date stored in a memory 37, the contents of the second aimed signal TG2 shows the gear position upper by one than the gear position at that time, and a speed change control part 33 receives the contents, and automatically carries out shift-up by one stage. When it is judged that the shift-up is impossible, the contents of the second aimed signal TG2 shows the actual gear position at present, and gear shift operation is not carried out. |
