PURPOSE:To lower noise and to decrease power consumption by providing means controlling the stoppage of the driving source of an image forming means while a sheet post-processing means is operating after image formation. CONSTITUTION:The device is provided with the image forming means A forming an image on a sheet member, and the sheet post-processing means B to execute prescribed post-processing the sheet member after gathering on which the image has been formed, and the control means C controlling the stoppage of the driving source of the image forming means A while the sheet post-processing means B is operating after the image formation. Thus, the driving source for the image formation is stopped while the post-process after the image formation, therefore, noise can be lowered and power consumption can be decreased. |
