PURPOSE: To obtain the subject composition for topical administration for male impotence, comprising a conjugate of vasoactive intestinal peptide(VIP) coupled to a hydrophobic molecule as an active ingredient. CONSTITUTION: This composition for topical administration comprises a physiologically effective quantity of a conjugate of VIP having an amino acid sequence of formula IV bound to a hydrophobic molecule, e.g. a molecule of formula I [(n) is 1-12], formula II [(m) is 1-12] or formula III [(n) is 2-6; (m) is 2-12], its effective derivative or its effective fragment (e.g. 7-28 fragment or 16-28 fragment). Introduction of the hydrophobic molecule to peptide chain of VIP is carried out through the side chain of lysine or through OH group of serine or threonine or through the side chain of asparagine or glutamine or through C end or N end amino acid. |
