PURPOSE:To improve the approximation between the surface property of a color proof and that of a printing matter, and to improve the adhesive strength and separation ability between the photosensitive material and an original at the time of the contact baking by specifying the surface roughness of the picture forming surface of the photosensitive material. CONSTITUTION:The surface roughness of the picture forming surface of the photosensitive material is specified a center line average height (Ra) defined by JIS standard B 0610 to 0.30-3.0mum. The controlling of the roughness (Ra) is performed according to a method of incorporating a mat agent (such as a noncrystalline silica) in the most upper layer of the photosensitive material, etc. A magenta coupler shown by formula I is preferably incorporated in the photosensitive material. In the formula, Z is an atomic group necessary for forming a nitrogen contg. heterocyclic ring, X is hydrogen atom or a releasable group, R is hydrogen atom or a substituting group. The coupler shown by the formula is composed of a compd. shown by formula II, etc. When the coupler shown by the formula is incorporated in the photosensitive material, the whiteness of the white base of a color picture is improved. |
