PURPOSE: To obtain a mineral supply capable of improved uptake by the human body and lower animals by incorporating a mixture of an iron source enough to supply nutrition with a calcium source and sugar alcohol enough to increase absorption. CONSTITUTION: An iron source enough to supply nutrition, preferably an iron- sugar complex such as iron sucrate material in which iron is preferably in a ferrous state is mixed with a calcium source, preferably calcium citrate malate and 1-4% sugar alcohol enough to increase absorption, preferably D-sorbitol to obtain the objective mineral supply. This mixture is added to a fruit beverage, a carbonated beverage and other food. |
