PURPOSE:To exactly discriminate the front and rear side of a card and an insertion direction by providing segmentary notched parts for two side parts along the insertion direction of an information recording card. CONSTITUTION:Segmentary notched parts 5 and 5', which are formed at parallel side parts along an insertion direction 3, are provided for an information recording card 1 to record and/or reproduce information. The sizes (a) and (b) of the segments are anot equal to b in order to discriminate the front and rear side and the insertion direction, preferably they are a>b and the sizes able to confirm the segmentary shape with a finger tip, the positions of the segmentary notched parts 5 and 5' are allowable at wherever parallel side parts along the insertion direction 3, preferably positioned behind the center line 4 of the insertion direction. Thus, the information recording card 1 which simplifies the discrimination of the front and rear side and the insertion direction can be obtained. |
