<p>PURPOSE:To avoid such an inconvenient case where the power supply of a lower rank device is mistakenly cut off when the power supply of a certain system is cut off by inhibiting the supply of power to the lower rank device when a fact is shown that the lower rank device transfers the prescribed information to >=2 higher rank devices. CONSTITUTION:A file device 5 connected to a power supply controller 4 stores the power supply application information that shows whether the power supply is applied to each of those devices forming a computer system and whether these devices may possibly used or not. When the power supply is manually applied to a peripheral device 3-l which is shared by two main body process systems 1 and 2, the controller 4 receives the information showing the application of the power supply and cuts off the supply of power even to a device excluded out of the subject receiving the batch supply of power when the operation is stopped. Thus it is possible to inhibit the cut-off of the power supply even in the case one of both systems is stopped and the power supply is cut to the relevant device as long as the other system has the possibility of application.</p> |
