PURPOSE:To provide the title addition designed so that a flake feed or flake blend feed is put to wet temperature rise with steam, and warmed molasses is added to the system, thereby enhancing the adsorbability of the molasses on the feed side and ensuring desired amount of molasses to be added without causing equipment troubles. CONSTITUTION:A steam is incorporated into a flake feed or flake blend feed to make a wet temperature rise, and warmed molasses is then added to the system. The steam is pref. a saturated one and it is suggested that its amount to be incorporated be relevantly selected so as to result in feed temperature comparable to the molasses temperature after warming; for example, ca.1-2wt.% based on the feed, its vapor pressure being ca.1-6kg/cm<2>. The warming temperature for the molasses is pref. ca.50 deg.C; it is preferable that the warming be made just before its addition and the water content drop-off due to the warming be avoided to the utmost. The means for the addition is pref. a spraying using a nozzle. |
