PURPOSE:To provide the toner which exhibits a high electrical conductivity in a low electric field and has excellent fixability and reliability and to obtain high image quality by embedding a specific carbon black completely into a particle surface or providing a binder layer on the particle surface and dispersing the carbon black into this layer. CONSTITUTION:This toner has the structure in which the carbon black is fixed to the surface of the particles contg. a coloring material and magnetic material in a binder material and the particle surface is completely coated with the carbon black. The carbon black is completely embedded in the particle surface or has the structure in which the binder layer is provided on the particle surface and the carbon black is dispersed therein. This carbon black has 800 to 1,500m<2>/g surface area and 300 to 500cc/100g DBP oil absorption. The electrical conductivity in the low electric field is surely exhibited in this way and the fixability, reliability and image quality are maintained at a high level. |
