PURPOSE:To obtain an oxide superconductor having Tc >=150K and contg. no Cu by replacing a part of Ba in a Ba type superconductor with V, Nb, or lanthanoid element. CONSTITUTION:BaCO3, Pb2O3 Bi2O3 and oxide(s) of at least one kind of element selected among V, Nb, and lanthanoid elements are mixed and calcined provisionally at 650-800 deg.C in the air and pulverized. Then, the product is calcined finally at 800-850 deg.C for about 24hr in O2. Thus, a metal oxide superconductor expressed by the formula is obtd. wherein O ions 3 are coordinating octahedrally centering Pb and Bi 2 and layer structures expanding as flat planes and holding the O ions in common, laminate in several layers on each other interposing oxide layers contg. at least one kind of element selected among, V, Nb, and lathanoid elements. In the formula, 0.01<x<0.4; 0.01<y<0.55; M is at least one kind of element selected from V, Nb, and lanthanoid elements. |
